Founder's Note

Final Journey Travel Co. was born from having traveled a similar path to what you or your loved one might be facing as well.

When my brother passed away with no warning, we were suddenly faced with impossible decisions - at the very same time that overwhelming grief arrived. We were not prepared for journey ahead, but we knew we had no choice but to put one foot in front of the other and find a way to honor him, as well as take care of the confusing and complex arrangements that come with the end of a life. And although I had spent much of my career in travel as a flight attendant and travel agent, nothing prepared me for the enormous undertaking of navigating even simple logistics during this time.

In those darkest moments, we experienced extraordinary kindness.

Airline representatives, hotel staff, funeral professionals, and compassionate friends of my brother helped guide us through difficult decisions with patience, grace, and unfailing kindness. Their willingness to carry a small part of our burden is something I will never forget.

After returning home and slowly adjusting to a life that had forever changed, one thought continued to stay with me: if someone else could be spared even a fraction of the stress we experienced, then perhaps something meaningful could grow from our loss.

That is why Final Journey Travel Co. exists.

Our role is not simply to book travel. It is to serve as a compassionate, experienced guide during one of life's most difficult chapters. We understand that this is not your typical trip, and the care that is required is vastly different.

We help handle the details that can feel impossible to manage, while you focus on what matters most: honoring your loved one, supporting your family, and taking the next step forward.

It is our sincere hope that, in your own challenging moments and season of loss, we can offer a measure of peace, comfort, and practical support. If we can lessen your burden, even in the smallest way, then we have fulfilled the purpose for which this company was created.
